A top cruise value is the right cruise for you at the right price. Note that we haven't said that a cruise value is the "cheapest" cruise, or the "biggest discount" cruise, or the hottest cruise "deal," or the biggest cruise "bargain." No cruise is a bargain -- at any price -- if does not provide the type of cruise experience you are seeking, commensurate with your lifestyle. And no one cruise will ever be the "top cruise value" for everyone.

A top cruise value may be a very low-priced cruise, or it may be what many people would regard as a very high-priced cruise. Since cruise "value" can only be based on what is important to each individual, value really comes down to getting the most of what is important to you for a fair price, and not overpaying for what you get.

That's why we have divided our newest site, Top Cruise Values, into four categories.

Luxury Category. Here we are talking about cruise lines like Silversea, Seabourn and Crystal. These provide cruise "values" for people who are looking for the best in accommodations, food and service -- all at a good price.

Super Premium Category. This second category consists of cruise lines like Radisson Seven Seas, Windstar and Celebrity Cruises. Some feel these belong in the luxury category, and they provide cruise "values" for people looking for a great cruise experience often at a great price.

Premium Category. This category consists of cruise lines like Holland America, Princess, and Royal Caribbean International. Some of their ships come close to belonging in the super premium category, and provide cruise "values" for people looking for a very good cruise experience at what often is a tremendous price.

Mainstream Category. This category consists of cruise lines like Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival, and Windjammer Barefoot Cruises. They provide cruise "values" that are particularly attractive to young singles and young families, offering a lot of cruise for comparatively few dollars.

Each week, we will review the cruise values submitted to us for consideration by travel agencies, and update our our Top Cruise Values in each category . Some Top Cruise Values may be so good they stay up for several weeks. Other Top Cruise Values may enjoy only a brief run before they are replaced by a better value. You can still find older Top Cruise Values, however, by clicking on the category of interest.
